Seth's First Day of School (Pre-K)

Seth started school today. It was a little rough watching Daddy drive off with my backpack-wearing boy. He woke up grumpy and didn't want to go, but Dad reported back that he did great once they got there. Eric had to track him down to get a hug from him before he left. Only a report of a minor kicking incident and he was (surprisingly) the receiver and not the deliverer. Apparently there was a little girl who got ahold of him with her leg.
So after I got Ethan off to school, Rachael and I had almost two hours before we had to go retrieve Seth and she slept most of it, so I got busy pealing wallpaper off of the boys' bedroom walls. Not the most relaxing and enjoyable thing to do, but it needs to get done. They have a bedroom set on the way from the store as soon as we call to make an appointment for delivery and I need to get the room painted. I hoping to be done before the end of September. When you are working around three kids and a busy schedule, everything takes a little longer than it should. I'm learning (slowly) to be content with that because I know the kids will only be around just so long and then they'll be painting bedrooms for their own kids.
Rachael's fussing right now, so I must be off. Maybe she'll catch a few more zzzzz's during Seth's nap so I can have two nice breaks today. (One must always retain hope!)
